A 400 ms page load beats any feature users cannot reach. Every build starts with a performance budget.
Input validation, output escaping, nonce verification, capability checks — not add-ons, but the foundation of every line I write.
The database schema and API contracts come before a single PHP tag. Most project failures are design failures, not code failures.
Headless, blocks, AI, SaaS — the right technology is the one that solves the actual business problem, not the one that looks best on a resume.
Code is read ten times for every time it is written. Naming, structure, and documentation are not overhead — they are investment.
A beautiful admin experience is not a luxury. If your editors cannot publish without engineering help, the system is not complete.
